Music
Music is a topic very important for every country because I
think that it makes the difference with other countries. If the country don’t
have own music is like no having comparison with the other countries, because
for example if you are talking about Mexico you think about music with guitar
and singers with sombrero, so that’s creating like a stereotype for all the
people.
People can live in one country but could prefer listen music
from another country, for example in Mexico, some Mexicans prefer to listen
English songs instead listen Mexican songs, it depends on the person, because
everyone is different and can listen to what they prefer.
Music is a topic that everyone like to talk, because when
you listen to music you feel happy and comfortable, I prove that in the surveys I do in the university, because
every person I asked they told me that music is a good tool to forget about the
problems for one minute and just have a good time by listening to music. Also,
music can significant for every person something, for example teenagers can use
music to study or to do sports or use it in a party: but for people with more
age can see the music just for have relax and sleep: so it means that music
always is use it for positive actions, so if you ask someone what is his
favorite song they can answer that have a lot of songs or just one, but none
person is going to say that don’t like music.
Another important thing about music is that have a lot of
types, I mean have a lot divisions, one example could be electronic, this type
of music is made by dj’s. Electronic music is my favorite one, I can listen
this type of music all day if I want, and I would not get bored.
Electronic for me is the best way to get relax and have some
fun in a moment, because when you listen this type it feels like if you were in
a party, so you can have a really good time. I also love this music because I
love going to a dj concerts, there they play their own songs or they also can
play the best electronic songs that are sound at the moment. An example of this
music could be: David Guetta, Nervo, Calvin Harris, Alesso, Swedish House
Music, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike etc.
Electronic music have a big festival its name is
“Tomorrowland”, there the best dj’s of the world presents, so people can listen
to their new songs and also can dance and have a good days, this festival is
the biggest of all the world, so if a dj is chosen for play their songs there
only for 1 hour, it means that is a good dj, I would say that it could be
included in the 100 best dj’s; the duration of this festival is 3 days(1
weekend) and is in Belgium every 26, 27, 28 of July.
I think that being a dj producer is so difficult because you
have to know how to use a computer perfectly, I mean you need to know a lot of
music programs, also you need to know a lot of music, so you can mix all the
songs in the concerts or in the song you will create.
Another type of music is pop, this type is very popular
because all teenagers listen to it, they listen this type of music because they
can dance with this type or just can listen to it while they are talking with
their friends, I think that’s why is so popular, an example of pop music could
be: Justin bieber, one direction, Selena Gomez etc.
Pop is being recognized as the type of music more listened
in the last years, so it means that if you listen this music it is sure that
you would like it, not at all, but the sound or the way you can move with that
song you would like it.
Another type is Banda, this type is from Mexico and is so
popular there, it was created in the 1960’s, is basically music about love and
good fortune, a lot of Mexico people
listen this music in the radio or in their homes.
I think this type of music is just for sing and listen to
the lyrics, because sometimes if you listen a song of ‘Banda” in a moment
depressed or in a moment happy, you can feel like part of the song, I mean all
the lyrics can go with the moment you are passing, for example if are in love
and you listen some Banda songs, you can listen like a lot of love so it goes
with you.
Another important thing of Banda, is that every song is
played with all type of instruments, for example: piano, guitar, strings,
trumpet etc. so is difficult to make this songs, but every Mexican do it with
love and with a lot of passion, so in every song they put all their feelings
and like this all the people can feel the same. Example of Banda: Recodo,
Espinoza Paz, Banda el Limon.
Another important thing of music is that always is changing,
so is not always the same; every day, every producer, every singer is creating
new songs for people so we can listen to that songs for a good moment or for a
party, so music is now very important for us, because if we don’t have music we
can’t have relax or we can’t have a good time in a party, so is very important
for every country having music, because if
not, the country don’t have nothing that make it different from the
others.
Person 1 told me that his kind of music he like to listen is rock and his favorite song is one more night-maroon5, he really feel good and happy when he listen to his favorite song, also he thinks that Mexican music is good.
ReplyDeletePerson 2 told me that he listen to hip-hop and his favorite song is niggas in paris, he feels really exited when he listen that song, also he told me that Mexican music is good but he don't like too much.
Person 3 told me that she listen to pop, and her favorite song is call me maybe, so when she listen that song in the radio or in an iPod she feels really good and relax, also she told me that Mexican music for her is good, but she prefer listen to American music.
It was a really good activity.
